Terri Bonenberger, DVM, DACVD, is a graduate of Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a 3-year residency and clinical fellowship in dermatology at the University of California, Davis. A diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology since 2000, Dr. Bonenberger has practiced dermatology specialty medicine in Texas, New York, New Jersey and South Carolina. She has authored numerous articles on small animal dermatology and lectures both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Bonenberger enjoys private clinical practice and working with pet owners in the treatment of skin disease to allow their pets to live a more comfortable and healthy life. She currently sees patients in Mount Pleasant, Myrtle Beach and Savannah. Her areas of expertise and interest include: allergic skin disease, ear diseases, keratinization disorders, endocrine diseases, autoimmune skin diseases, metabolic skin diseases, hereditary disorders, and cutaneous infectious disease (parasitic, bacterial and fungal diseases). She is an active member of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD), the International Society of Veterinary Dermatopathology and the American College of Veterinary Medicine.
