Yolandie has always had a passion for the medical field which guided her to East Carolina University where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She found veterinary medicine shortly after college where she worked in a family practice and then later in emergency medicine. She then went on to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Yolandie helped open the Charlotte office and has been a member of the Southeast Veterinary Dermatology team ever since. When she’s not helping her furry patients, Yolandie enjoys hobbies that connect her back to nature like hiking and traveling. Our patients love when Yolandie is working with them because her fun and compassionate personality always makes them calm.


Chantelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Roger Williams University, Bristol, RI in 1997, after which she started her career as a veterinary technician. After working as a technician at smaller veterinary hospitals, she began work at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts in 2001 and had achieved her CVT by 2002. She worked as a certified veterinary technician, Hospital Supervisor, Clinic Supervisor, and finally, as Dermatology Technician Supervisor. In 2011, she moved to Florida, working as a certified veterinary technician specializing in the field of dermatology. In August of 2016, she joined the Southeast Veterinary Dermatology and Ear Clinic family. She is a charter member of the veterinary technician specialty group College of Dermatology Veterinary Technicians. In her free time, she enjoys mountain biking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and kitty!


Mary joined Southeast Veterinary in Aug 2016. She has over 20 years of experience as a registered veterinary technician. She has experience in internal medicine, emergency and general practice. She lives on a mini farm near Hickory and loves to spend time with her family hiking or strolling on the beach. She also loves to go horseback riding with her daughter, Allyson, on their horses, Fancy and Rosie.


Jordan joined our work family in 2017. She graduated from UNCW in 2012 with a background in public health. She started working in the veterinary field in 2011 and decided that was where her heart was and has been with it since! She is very active in Burn Bootcamp. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Curtis, playing with her dogs and riding her horses!


Kim is one of our Registered Technicians who has been in the veterinary field since 1992. Prior to joining SouthEast Vet Derm she worked in daytime practice. She has been with SouthEast Vet Derm since 2014. She lives in Union County with her husband and two daughters. Her fur family includes two dogs and two cats. She enjoys weekends on the soccer field watching her daughters play.


Penni was our first technician at Southeast Veterinary Dermatology and Ear Clinic! She graduated from the Gaston Veterinary Technician program in 2002. She came to us as a seasoned daytime technician, who also specialized in veterinary surgery. Her favorite part of the job is being here for the clients and helping them answer questions about their pets and concerns that come up. She also enjoys putting her knowledge and skills to great use by helping the many patients we see! In her spare time, she enjoys enthusiastically cheering her two boys on the ball field! She also is mom to two dogs! She is happily married to her high school sweetheart.



Bryanna has always loved working with animals and has been in the veterinary field since 2011. She knows all to well the aggravation allergies cause animals since she herself has an allergy fur baby. When Bryanna isn’t trying to keep her one allergic pup from scratching, she enjoys reading, sketching, and enjoying time spent with her husband, family, friends, and pets.



Amanda joined our work family in 2018. Born and raised in Concord, she’s had a love for animals since she was little and grew up with veterinarians in her family. She graduated from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences with a degree in Medical Assisting in 2012. She rescued her sweet fur baby, Peyton, 5 years ago and hasn’t looked back. She enjoys being with her niece and nephews, traveling to Raleigh to cheer on the Wolfpack and being with family & friends.


Office Manager

Amber came to work with dermatology in 2014. Before that she worked at a specialty and emergency animal hospital for 10 years. She started her career in the veterinary field in 1998 when she moved to North Carolina from Pittsburgh, PA. She is a published children’s book author who enjoys spending quiet time with her dogs and husband. She also enjoys going to estate and yard sales!


Jessica grew up in nearby Lincoln County. She has been in the veterinary world since 2000, graduating from the Veterinary Technology program at Gaston College in 2003. Her experience as an RVT includes working in small animal practices, a mixed animal practice, boarding and grooming facility manager and practice manager for the veterinary division of a working dog training facility. She previously worked here at SEVDEC for 2 years before her husband’s job relocated them to Southern Pines for 3 years. She is happy to be back with her derm family here in Charlotte. Jessica is a wife and mother of a teenage daughter. Her family also includes 3 Collies and a kitty. She enjoys taking her dogs on walks, antiquing, exploring new restaurants and spending time with her family.



Erin is a graduate of the Veterinary Technology program at Tri-County Technical College. She joined our team in July of 2015 after being in a mixed animal practice for 3 years. In her spare time, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dogs, being outdoors, and watching Clemson football.


Heather is from Irmo, SC. She attended the College of Charleston for two years and studied psychology before transferring to TriCounty Technical College for Veterinary Technology. She worked at Animal Emergency for 2 years before joining Southeast Veterinary in January 2013. Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends and her basset hound, Gump.


Danni has been in the Veterinary field for 15 years. During that time she has worked in emergency animal care, general practice, and as a Practice Manager. She joined Southeast in 2017. She attended the University of Utah and Moutainland Applied Technology College. She is a native of Spartanburg, SC and resides there with her husband and two daughters. Danni enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.


Tyler was born in Pickens, SC. He graduated from Tri-County Technical College with an associates degree in veterinary technology and applied science.  He has been in the vet field since 2011, after completing an internship at a zoo.  One of his personal goals is to continue being an advocate for the animals; one that lends a voice for the voiceless.  He has truly found his niche as an animal caretaker.  In his spare time, Tyler makes hand-carved twisted hiking sticks, jewelry making, and kayaking. He and his wife reside in Easley, SC


Stephanie has been working in the veterinary field since 2006. Before joining Southeast Veterinary Dermatology she has worked in both general and specialty veterinary practices. She has also worked as an instructor at Greenville Technical College for the veterinary assisting program. Stephanie and her husband have two children, a son, and a daughter. Her fur-babies include two German Shepherds, a Chihuahua mix, two cats, and three birds. She enjoys spending time with her family and hiking with her dogs.



Born and raised in Greenville, Travis’s passion for animals originally led him to become a horse training assistant. From there, Travis spent several years as a licensed cosmetologist before returning to what he loves, working with animals. He has been a member of the SouthEast Veterinary Dermatology team since 2011. Travis and his partner live in the Greenville area with their three dogs, Chio, Scarlett, and Roux.


Michelle graduated from Suffolk College in Brentwood, NY with an AOS in applied science. She and her family moved to SC in 2012 and are proud members of the Greer community. She and her husband have two daughters, a cockatoo named Sid, two spoiled calicos and a retriever named Radar.  She’s worked in the emergency Veterinary field since 2002 and gained a passion for helping people with their pets in need of urgent care. She started working with SEVDEC a few months ago and has never been happier, she finds dermatology to be fascinating!  Michelle enjoys traveling with her family, spending time with her pets and reading books on Entomology.



Meaghan came to Southeast Veterinary Dermatology in 2014 and since then has been promoted to our senior technician and office manager here at the clinic! She has been in the specialty veterinary field for over 15 years, working in both surgery and ophthalmology, but specializing in dermatology for the past 9 years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from William Paterson University in NJ. She worked as a veterinary technician in NJ from 2001 until she relocated to Charleston. Meaghan was excited to join SEVD. She brings a wealth of dermatology knowledge to our practice, but enjoys the new challenges she encounters here. She excels in (and enjoys!) all areas relating to anesthetic protocols, consistently proving to be an asset to the clinic. Meaghan considers continuing education one of the most important parts of her job and loves educating clients and fellow technicians alike. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and going to the beach with her sweet dogs, Griffin
and Metto (named after the Palmetto state!).


Creighton graduated from Trident Technical College Veterinary Technician Class of 2005. She spent 12.5 years at a private practice and recently joined the team at SEVDEC. In her free time she enjoys reading, listening to music, playing trivia and watching Gamecocks athletics.


Amanda graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.  She always had a passion for animals and found her calling as a Vet Tech while working for an emergency vet clinic.  Amanda returned to school and received an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Trident Technical College before joining the Southeast Vet Dermatology family.  When not at work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and their three dogs.


Stacey is one of the SEVD licensed veterinary technicians. She is a 2014 graduate of Trident Technical College where she earned her Associates in Veterinary Technology. Stacey moved to SC from upstate NY in 2005 with her husband. They share their home in Moncks Corner with their two dogs, Cole & Honeybee and two cats, Fluffy & Moultrie.  Stacey’s favorite part of working at SEVD is the daily interaction with clients and patients. She has always had a desire to work in a specialty field where she can expand her knowledge and be part of a great team – something she’s found at SEVD. Hobbies include camping, exploring the lowcountry, trying new restaurants and relaxing with her husband and “fur babies”.


Kat moved here from New Jersey in March 2015. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Marist College in New York and became an Account Executive in pharmaceutical advertising shortly after graduating. In need of a change and new challenge, she decided to follow her true passion of caring for and being around animals. Kat became a client service coordinator at a veterinary general practice after making the move to Charleston. Soon after she started training as a veterinary technician. Thrilled by the opportunity to learn about veterinary care, she realized the importance of specialty clinics. Being at Southeast Vet Derm gives her the opportunity to learn a specific veterinary discipline where she can visually see the patients get better. Kat manages all of our social media and is the to go-to tech for any computer/IT needs at the clinic. In her free time she loves exploring Charleston and runs her own dog sitting service in Mount Pleasant. She isn’t able to have a pet as of now, but takes care of every one she meets as if it were her own!


Doug joined the SEVDEC team in 2018. A graduate of Trident Technical College, Doug brings six years of general practice experience. Before going into the veterinary field, Doug spent 13 years as a chef in downtown Charleston. In his spare time, he enjoys seeing live music and playing guitar.



Born and raised in the Lowcountry, Robyn graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. With a passion for animals, she decided to head back to the veterinary field and joined our team in 2010. Robyn loves spending any spare time in the outdoors with her husband, daughter, and dog Gus.



Sarah Prentice has a Bachelor’s in music with emphasis on vocal studies from USC and over seven years experience in emergency veterinary medicine. In her spare time, she can be found hanging out with her also ER technician boyfriend George, her cat Nimbus 2000, and her dog Simon Calhoun. Her favorite hobbies include scuba diving and horseback riding.
